Listed below is the AoG Recruitment Speech. It is to be said to all new recruits.
We are AOG which stands for, Army of Gamers. First and foremost, our top priority is to have fun in an organized, well-structured manner as a friendly community. We are not, by any means, an MLG or a highly competitive clan. But a relaxed, fun and respectable gaming community. We enjoy playing a variety of video games and value teamwork and competition. We treat members and non-members alike with respect. We also have a ranking system, a means of promotion and what we call Squads; competitive groups of individuals within the clan who train under the direction of a leader. All in all, we’re just looking to have a good time.
Now having said that, being a structured and organized community. We have a set of rules that are expected to be followed, such as:
• No trash-talking
• No tea-bagging
• No harassment
• No sexism
• No racism
• No cheating*
• No mods**
• No boosting
• No network manipulation* Such as glitches that prevent the other team from scoring, etc.
** Such as mod controllers. Only in a custom game where everyone is aware and ok with the use of mods will this be allowed.
**Discrimination or degradation of any kind toward MEMBERS AND/OR NON-MEMBERS will NOT be tolerated.
**No poaching members from other gaming organizations (aka "clans"). No recruiting members from other AoG branches such as AoG Unleashed or AoG Destiny.
**Try to keep the occurrence of appearing offline to a minimum, if you find it necessary to appear offline then please notify a higher-ranking Officer and or leader. We want to be there for our community to help with growth and activity.
**AOG members are not allowed to be apart of any other clan or gaming community that support games we have branches in. This does not include being a member of a game battles team or MLG team as that is not community organized.
And as a structured community we have a ranking structure which is:
1. Recruit = RCT The Recruits emblem is the Champion toggled (its number 12 for primary emblems list). Recruit is a trial rank for games to learning about the clan and the members and leaders that are apart of it. To be promoted from Recruit you must have shown that you are a gamer that respects gaming for fun and team work, you must also be spend time gaming with the community for a week, get to know the members and leaders, learn the rules and overall have fun.
2. Private = PVT The emblem for Private rank is the Delta Toggled(its number 8 on the emblem list). Once the rank of Private has been obtained you have officially become a member of the gaming community. To be promoted you must be active with the clan for a week, follow our rules, run a few game nights as well (contact leaders if need to know how or so we can arrange a night for you to run), and again, have fun.
3. Corporal = CPL The Next rank up is Corporal, the emblem for Corporal is again the Delta but its untoggled to show both Vs in the emblem. If this rank is obtained you have made the decision to move up in the clan and possibly become a leader in the future. To be promoted active with the community as Corporal for 1-2 weeks, recite the Recruitment Speech to a Lieutenant or higher rank (reciting the recruitment speech will show the advancement of a member and the knowledge they have on the clan).
Officer Ranks: The following are the Officer ranks. All Officer ranks are "earned", when a member reaches the first Officer rank Sergeant, that member can add the clans name into their gamer tag which is a "clan tag" (example = AoG RokkoS).
4. Sergeant = SGT Sergeant is the first Officer rank, the emblem for Sergeant is the Phoenix (toggled) so that the shield is not scene (its number 11 on the emblem list). At the rank of Sergeant members have earned the authority and responsibility to come to officer meetings and everything that follows officer meetings. To be promoted from SGT, you must be active for 3 weeks as Sergeant.
5. Sergeant Major = SGM Sergeant Major's emblem is the Rune (its number 53 on the emblem list). SGM's have learned how to take care of a responsibility in the community as such are now Lieutenants in training. To be promoted active with the community as Sergeant Major for 1 week.
6. Lieutenant = LT The Lieutenant's emblem is any number (on the emblem number list it’s 71-80.)They're to be seen as examples in the clan. Lieutenant can be promoted after being LT for 1 month.
7. Commander = CDR The Commander is the leader of a branch in AoG. The Commanders emblem is the Valkyrie (its number 48 on the emblem list) They handle anything that goes on in their designated branch. Commanders will be promoted after more than 2 months time is spent as a Commander.
8. Major = MAJ Majors do not have a set emblem. Now they organize and oversee two clan branches meaning they oversee the members, officers and leaders of those branches.
9. Colonel = COLLike Majors the Colonels have no set emblem, also Colonels organize and oversee multiple branches; however Colonels oversee 2 Majors, their overseeing branches and also lead 1 of their overseeing branches along side their Commanders.
10. General = GEN Generals oversee the entire clan, meaning every Commander, Major and Colonel and their overseeing and leading branches.
