Official Recruitment Speech Empty
PostSubject: Official Recruitment Speech   Official Recruitment Speech EmptyThu Jul 14, 2011 12:32 am

Listed below is the AOG Recruitment Speech. It is to be presented to all incoming AOG recruits.

Welcome to AOG (Army of Gamers). First and foremost, our top priority is to have fun in an organized, well-structured manner as a friendly community. We are not, by any means, an MLG or a highly competitive clan. But a relaxed, fun and respectable gaming community. We enjoy playing a variety of video games and value teamwork and competition. We treat members and non-members alike with respect. We also have a ranking system, a means of promotion and what we call fire teams; competitive groups of individuals within the clan who train under the direction of a fire team leader. All in all, we’re just looking to have a good time.
Now having said that, being a structured and organized community, we have a set of rules that are expected to be followed.

The following is a brief version of the AOG Code of Conduct.

If any Member, Officer or higher ranking leader violates Code of Conduct going on their 4th strike, they WILL be banned.

The AOG Leadership has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY FOR ANY MEMBER WHO VIOLATES THE CODE OF CONDUCT. Therefore, members must understand that the Leaders ARE responsible for the members that are in their Squads/Branches and the members bellow them in rank. However, all members are responsible for themselves. Meaning if a member violates the Code of Conduct, then they are held accountable and are subject to the Consequences.

The following is AoGs list of rules Such as:

• No trash-talking
• No tea-bagging
• No harassment
• No sexism
• No racism
• No cheating*
• No mods**
• No boosting
• No network manipulation

* Such as glitches that prevent the other team from scoring, etc.
** Such as mod controllers. Which are prohibited by Xbox live and the community by partisan. Only in a custom game where participants are aware and acceptable to the use of mods will this be allowed.

Other basic rules and regulations in detail.
Discrimination or degradation of any kind toward MEMBERS AND/OR NON-MEMBERS will NOT be tolerated. No poaching members from other gaming organizations. If a member desires to leave his or her current gaming organization and would like to join AOG, they must wait for a duration of one week before they will be allowed to officially join as a member. No recruiting members from other branches within the community. Try to keep the occurrence of appearing offline to a minimum as this makes members and leaders unavailable to our community. If you find it necessary to appear offline then please notify a higher-ranking Officer and leader. We want to be there for our community so as to aid in the growth and development of the community. AOG members are not allowed to be involved in other organized clan or gaming communities that support games we have Squads/branches in. This does not include being a member of a game battles team as that is not community organized.

ALL MEMBERS ARE EXPECTED TO HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE CODE OF CONDUCT.

The following is a brief version of the AOG ranking structure.
